Robert (Bob) Jackson

A bona fide expert in the mortgage banking and post-foreclosure legal
fields, Mr. Jackson earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of
Southern California, where he was recognized as a member of the prestigious
Order of the Coif (an honor reserved for the top 10% of the graduating
class). A member of the California Bar, he founded Mutual Mortgage Company
in the early 1980s, serving as President of the full-service mortgage
banking firm until it was sold to Medallion Mortgage in 1984.
Mr. Jackson has practiced a wide range of mortgage banking and real
estate law in his nearly 40 years as an attorney, including both jury and
bench trials. In 1994,
Mr. Jackson established the first law firm dedicated to REO legal
and related title litigation; by 1998, his firm was responsible for
commencing, managing, and supervising REO property recovery throughout
the United States.
Passionate about ideas and about process, Mr. Jackson sets the strategic vision
at Jackson & Asssociates, and is a frequent speaker to the REO and default industries. His
hands-on and energetic style means that in addition to his management
responsibilities, Bob is personally involved in many of the day-to-day
operations at Jackson & Associates. In addition to his advanced law
degree, Bob also holds a BS in Mathematics from St. Mary’s College.
Scott Jackson

Director, Information Technology
Associated with the firm since 1994, Scott earned his Juris Doctorate
from the University of Southern California, where
he graduated in the top half of his class and with multiple honors, and is admitted to
the California Bar. In addition to his advanced law degree, Scott also holds a BA in
Economics from the University of Southern California, where he graduated
magna cum laude.
In his current capacity as Senior Vice President,
Scott is responsible for overseeing the operations
of the firm's national eviction management practice. Scott's previous legal experience includes complex eviction issues, such as rent control and bankruptcy, on California legal matters.
With
a strong background in programming, application development, and network administration, Scott also leads the firm's
in-house information technology
department, and he was primarily
responsible for the design and development of the Symphony platform.
